Walther P22 Pistol

If you're reading this page you're probably looking to buy a Walther P22, sell one, or you're searching for information about one you that already own. Either way, you've come to the right place. This sweet little pistol has become one of my favorite firearms in my small but growing collection.

Although the P22 is one of my favorite pistols, I understand that this gun is not for everyone - it is what it is. For those of you in the market for this pistol - I've covered all the pros, cons and misconceptions in my Walther P22 Review, and I've linked to other resources that I found helpful when I was considering purchasing this gun.

Low quality ammunition is a leading cause of complaints about this pistol and a subject that I've made sure to cover completely. The P22 operates best using high quality, high velocity ammunition. Low-grade junk ammo will cause a number of annoying issues to arise.

Not surprisingly, the folks that have ammo problems with the Walther usually fail to read the pistol's manual before they purchase rounds and go shooting. If follow Walther's recommendations you will rarely experience feed problems.

To prove this point and to find the best ammunition for the P22, I punished my pistol by force-feeding it less than desirable rounds. As much as it pained me to abuse the little guy, I did it with the intention of educating the masses. So do me a favor and don't let my pistol have suffered in vain. If you have a P22 that you're having issues with, or you're considering buying one, read this section to learn about the best Walther P22 ammo - it will make or break your experience with this firearm.

I didn't spring for the dual-barrel package when I bought my pistol so I only have the 3.4 inch Walther P22 Barrel. I did manage to secure the finger-grip and regular magazines, which appear to come with every new P22. Perhaps some of you that already have a Walther could let me know if the finger-grip and regular magazines come with every pistol.

I'm happy to post your questions and comments (good or bad) here about the Walther P22 or any other firearm that I cover. Until I can find the time to program a content management system for this site, email me your comments and I'll post them.

As you can see, this is a work in progress. I'll be getting around to giving this site some much needed attention ASAP.
